The news that Kevin Rudd, who stepped down due to intraparty coup, was recently appointed Foreign Minister of the Australian government led by the Labor Party stunned a great many people. Rudd’s appointment is no doubt the most dramatic nomination in the newly formed cabinet however a wise choice for both Gillard and Rudd.
