China’s Carrier Strategy on “Varyag”

The Soviet laid vessel “Varyag” is almost ready to sail into the sea as China’s first carrier. It will train the PLA Navy not only the in operation and combat skill, but also the strategic thinking on carrier deployment. While the skilled sailors and pilots provide the pavement, it is the new theory which will lead the way to navy development. Starting from the Southern China Sea, more carriers will take the ocean strategy of China further into the oceans.
