Curtain Lifted on 2012 U.S. Presidential Election

In 2012, the Democratic and the Republican will compete for each single seat in the House of Representatives and one third of the seats in the Senate. Many commentators believe that the real battlefield will be at the Congress, especially in the Senate. If Republicans fail to secure a candidate powerful enough to beat Obama, their donors will shift focus to congressional election.
