City-specific real estate regulation needed

The new round of real estate regulation measures launched by the central and local governments are designed to cool down the real estate market in the short term instead of bringing down the market in the long run. Governments don’t expect to reverse the current rising trend of the market, and no trend change is likely to happen in the real estate market in first-tier and some strong second-tier cities.
