It is unpredictable that whether the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) will come back to power, but it is true that the DPP represents the will of 45 per cent Taiwanese. To simultaneously engage with both the Kuomintang and the DPP is absolutely a sound strategy for capturing the hearts and minds of the Taiwan populace.
