One of the unusual features of the “statement on South China Sea” released by the U.S. is that it officially defines itself as an “arbitrator”. With the seemingly impartial posture, the U.S. tries to justify its unjustifiable interference in disputes over the South China Sea. This behavior has precisely revealed America’s inner anxiety.
