Shinkansen vs. High-Speed Rail: A New Focal Point of the Sino-Japanese Dispute?

It is still unknown whether China’s high-speed rail technology will be taken to Court by Japan’s Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. with charges of piracy. Although the outcome of the case remains speculative, the only thing we could be certain of at the moment is that the two countries will mostly likely go to Court and that piracy will be a focal point of Sino-Japan relations in the near future.
