China’s 12th Five-Year Plan: Implications and Opportunities

China’s 12th five-year (2011-2015) plan put forward an idea to “deepen the cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau to promote regional economic development”. It is imperative for Hong Kong to study the long-term planning of the country and understand the direction of national economic and social development in order to secure the opportunity to intensify Hong Kong’s competency and economic structure.
