(Hong Kong, 3 May 2026) Tsinghua University alumnus and Chairman of Tianda Group and Tianda Institute, Fang Wenquan, was honored to attend the Tsinghua Alumni Association of Hong Kong’s 70th Anniversary Celebration Dinner. He was joined by other Tsinghua alumni, distinguished guests, and elites from various sectors to celebrate this important milestone.

Having studied International Relations at Tsinghua University in his early years, Chairman Fang Wenquan has always remained grateful to his alma mater and has actively supported its development. His contributions included leading Tianda Group and Tianda Institute to jointly establish the National Strategy Institute with Tsinghua University in 2012, the construction of “Tianda Square” at Tsinghua University, which was donated in 2010 and unveiled in 2016, and donating anti-epidemic supplies to Tsinghua during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, coinciding with the 115th anniversary of Tsinghua University, Chairman Fang Wenquan again made a donation through Tianda Group and Tianda Institute to support the university’s emergency relief fund for retired faculty and staff, helping to pass on the Tsinghua spirit from generation to generation.
Chairman Fang Wenquan extended his heartfelt congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the Tsinghua Alumni Association of Hong Kong, believing that the Association will continue to uphold Tsinghua’s motto of “Self-discipline and Social Commitment,” actively serve as a bridge to unite alumni from all walks of life and contribute greater wisdom and strength to Hong Kong’s prosperity and stability as well as the high-quality development of the nation.
