The pass of a Republican-backed budget bill might be interpreted as a victory of Republicans. However, it doesn’t mean that the Democratic Party and the White House has lost ground. On the next day after the bill was accepted, the young U.S. president cheerfully ascended the stairs to the Lincoln Memorial and made it clear to the public that he had made contributions to avert the federal government shutdown.
