The three elements contributed to Middle East unrest, namely lifelong tenure of the ruler, sluggish economic development and low standard of living, were properly addressed in China. The wisdom of China’s three generations of leadership is reflected in Deng Xiaoping’s abolition of cadres’ life-long tenure system, Jiang Zemin’s emphasis on economic development and proposal of “Three Represents” theory and people-oriented national policy under Hu-Wen administration. The collective wisdom of these party leaders has not only brought prosperity to China but also peace and harmony to the community.
